GRACE
A prestigious European training and research project created by an international consortium of eight partners, previously collaborating, inter alia, on GEMMA and EDGES projects. Project implemented under the HORIZON 2020 program from October 1, 2015, to the end of September 2019. GRACE, out of approximately 1500 applications to the ETN (European Training Network), received a 95.8% rating, which clearly indicates the high quality of the prepared project.
GEMMA
Erasmus Mundus Master’s degree in Women and Gender Studies (GEMMA) program involves studying at least two partner universities (the third semester of study is for the mobility), and therefore gaining experience in various European universities and in Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, USA, which are specializing in women’s and gender studies.
EDGES (JOINT EUROPEAN DOCTORATE IN WOMEN’S AND GENDER STUDIES)
Implemented from October 2013 till September 2015, its aim was to develop a model for a European Ph.D. in feminist and gender studies. The goal of EDGES was to develop cooperation between public, private, non-profit and government organizations while bridging the gap between the academic world and civil society.
TEACHING TOLERANCE - ANTI-DISCRIMINATORY TRAINING FOR TEACHERS
(August 2012 – July 2014), the project was carried out as part of the Human Capital operational program (European Social Fund), it was directed towards 96 teachers and their education in order to equip them with practical tools, aimed at actively counteracting all kinds of discrimination in educational institutions.
We celebrate the achievements of women, known and unknown, remembered and forgotten, who have forged the way for those of us in science today, and to give and opportinuty for children; girls and boys, to choose role models in science.
